Our History & Philosophy
Training the next generation of frontline healthcare pioneers and medical technologists in Adamawa State.
Mission, Legacy & Trajectory
Savannah Model College of Health Science & Technology was founded to solve a critical humanitarian gap: the acute shortage of trained, ethically responsible medical lab assistants, nursing leaders, and environment health personnel in North-Eastern Nigeria.
From a single campus facility in Yola, we have expanded to become a highly sought-after destination for health education. Our curriculum combines aggressive diagnostic technology lab experiments with extensive local clinical hospital postings, giving graduates unmatched employment readiness.
Our Core Mission
"To deliver exceptional, student-centered clinical health science training, leveraging high-grade laboratory infrastructure and simulated clinic conditions to build competent, ethical, and compassionate medical resources."
Institutional Core Values
Rigorous Ethics
We stress strong patient protection, bio-safety compliance, and transparent medical data ethics in all training.
Scientific Excellence
Our simulation settings and hands-on laboratory requirements push students to master real-world diagnoses and testing criteria.
Compassion & Empathy
Nursing and community health tracks integrate active sociological training, preparing providers to serve with genuine patient care.
NBTE Regulatory Alignment
Our continuous alignment with the national regulatory boards guarantees high compliance with national healthcare frameworks.
